David Dubois launched is business for big and tall shoes not so long after many years in a provincial, national and international basketball career. After basketball retirement, that is when he knew he needed a new challenge. That was the first step in a great success story.
After graduating college at Maine University, he worked a couple of years in retail sales, for different industries. But, since his last marketing courses, he already knew what he wanted to do with his future shoe store. After difficult beginnings, David didn’t give up. The store was at first, specialized for big and tall shoes for men only. David new there was something missing. After a few months open, he decided for the summer of 2011, to carry big and tall shoes for women as well. Growing from 700 square feet to 2000 square feet, he confidently launched his big and tall shoe venture for good.
Today, PIEDS GÉANTS CHAUSSURES is beneficiating of a strong word of mouth including thousands of people, more than 20 orthopedic professionals including feet care. PIEDS GÉANTS CHAUSSURES is also known in many other shoe and clothes stores. We also work with different hospitals and regional clinics.
